Six retailers/brands that are so innovative right now

These retailers and brands are leading the way in providing technology and experiences that are one step ahead of their customers’ expectations.

1. Walmart

Earlier this year, Walmart announced InHome Delivery, which will see items delivered directly to customers’ kitchen or garage fridges. And it has now launched the service in Pittsburgh, Kansas City (Missouri and Kansas) and Vero Beach.

2. Mattel

Walmart and Mattel are “leasing floors” in a new virtual store called KidHQ, which lets users browse toys and merchandise in videos with various choose-your-own-adventure formats.

3. Feelunique

Feelunique says that it has become the first European multi-brand beauty retailer to offer ingredient transparency functionality for consumers, working in partnership with Evrelab.

4. Tesco

UK startup Roboscientific has won the 2019 Tesco Agri T-Jam, which was hosted last week in partnership with the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit.

5. Walgreens

Alphabet spin off Wing has officially launched the USA’s first commercial drone delivery flight, beating out such competitors as Amazon.

It is working on a pilot in Christiansburg, Virginia, and has partnered on this with Walgreens, FedEx and local gift shop Sugar Magnolia in Christiansburg, Virginia. 

6. Amazon

Amazon Day has quietly launched on these shores, having gone live in the US earlier this year.
