PayPal shares hit record high
PayPal shares closed at a new high this week, on the back of its divorce from eBay and various new partnership arrangements with the likes of Facebook, Baidu and Citi.
Thursday saw shares hit $65.63 on the NASDAQ. Also this week, PayPal expanded its agreement with Mastercard, to include Canada, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean and the Middle East and Africa.
PayPal also has such big hitters as Braintree on its books, as well as the hugely popular payments service, Venmo.
