ASOS teams with Klarna for Try Before You Buy launch

ASOS has rolled out its Try Before You Buy service, powered by Klarna Pay Later. This lets UK app customers try any of its 85,000 products at home and only pay for what they want to keep, within 30 days of their order being dispatched – with no interest or fees.

The Klarna partnership follows implementations with ASOS in Germany, Austria, Sweden, Finland and Norway. “We are constantly looking for new ways to improve the ASOS experience for our 15.4 million customers around the world,” says Nicola Thompson, Global Trading Director at ASOS. “We know people love the option of paying later only for the things they keep, and are excited to introduce this for customers shopping on our app in the UK.”

To pay with Klarna Pay Later, you need to be 18 years of age and have a mobile number, email and UK residential address. Once an order has been confirmed, you’ll receive an email from Klarna with payment instructions and will then have 30 days to complete the payment online. You can pay via credit or debit card at www.klarna.com/uk. Klarna will withdraw the statement if the order has been cancelled. If you return your order, a refund will be processed once it arrives back at ASOS.
