Amazon Treasure Truck rolls into London and Manchester

Amazon's Treasure Truck arrived in UK cities for the first time this weekend, hitting London and Manchester. The first limited-quantity offer was the Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Entertainment System for £69.99.

From 10am on Saturday, customers got the chance to get their hands on the console via the Amazon app. They were able to pick up their order at the Treasure Truck at Charing Cross Station in London from 11am-5pm, or 127 Portland Street in Manchester from 11am-5pm. 

Treasure Truck will travel around Manchester and London several times a month. It is due to launch in further UK cities soon and customers can sign up by texting ‘truck’ to 87377. “We kicked things off in London and Manchester with a lorry load of this year’s must-have present, the SNES Classic Edition,” says James Quick, Head of Treasure Truck, Amazon.co.uk. “We know there are lots of people who are desperate to turn back the clock and get their hands on the legendary ‘90s-style console before Christmas. Treasure Truck is primed and ready for those keen customers who act fast.”
