Arsenal scores cryptocurrency first

Their team is fast becoming a Premier League also ran, but Arsenal fans can at least console themselves with the fact that the Gunners are the first major football club to ink a cryptocurrency promotion deal.

Arsenal is teaming up with gaming company, CashBet, whose own currency, CashBet Coin, launched yesterday via an Initial Coin Offering (ICO). This will be advertised at the club's Premier League home games and plugged via its digital and social media platforms, and through the creation of bespoke content with players.
