Yamada Denki tests out Bitcoin payments
Yamada Denki, one of Japan’s largest consumer electronics retailers, has started a Bitcoin payments trial.
It has partnered with cryptocurrency exchange Bitflyer on this, with Bitcoin being accepted at two Yamada Denki Labi stores in Tokyo. A nationwide roll-out is also in the works.
