Burberry inks e-commerce deal with Farfetch

Burberry has struck a global partnership with online luxury fashion platform, Farfetch, as it looks to pull in a “young fashion-conscious consumer.” All of its products will be sold to Farfetch customers in 150 countries. Burberry gave no financial details.

Daniel Heaf, Digital Commerce and Marketing President at Burberry, says: “We want the digital expression of our brand to represent the very best in brand and product storytelling, whether on our own platforms or through our partners, and Farfetch customers globally can now access the full Burberry offer.”

Farfetch is reportedly plotting a stock market flotation in New York which would value the venture at $5 billion.
