Alibaba Cloud sets sights on Turkey
Alibaba Cloud is making its first concerted push into Turkey through a partnership with Istanbul-based B2B services provider e-Glober.
“Alibaba Cloud has always been dedicated to making our future-proof technology inclusive within the markets in which we operate,” says Yeming Wang, Deputy General Manager at Alibaba Cloud Global. “We aim to become the preferred cloud service provider for all sizes of business in Turkey by providing a full range of cloud solutions and combining this with e-Glober’s local expertise.”
Alibaba Cloud will offer elastic computing, database services, networking, security and middleware services to its clients in the country, who operate in the online retail, multimedia and gaming sectors. “There is a genuine interest among Turkish companies to leverage the full capabilities of the cloud, which has been encouraging for us to see,” says e-Glober CEO, Orkan Aytulun. “By partnering with Alibaba Cloud, an influential global cloud service provider, we can meet the increasing market demand for cutting-edge cloud products and services to be brought to this high potential market.”
