Dunkin’ Donuts unveils new mobile app design
Dunkin’ Donuts has redesigned its mobile app.
This first launched in 2012. In 2016, On-the-Go Mobile Ordering was rolled out across the US, giving DD Perks members an opportunity to order ahead and skip the wait in-store. The DD Perks Rewards programme now has more than eight million members, and allows guests to earn five points for every dollar they spend on qualifying purchases at Dunkin’ Donuts when they pay using an enrolled DD card. Once a member accrues 200 points, they receive a coupon for a free beverage of their choice, redeemable at participating restaurants.
As a result of the mobile app refresh, it is easier for DD Perks members to check how many points they’ve earned. Customers are also able to fully customise an order, right down to the amount of ice in a drink, options for half decaf coffee etc, as they would do in-store.
