A.S. Watson taps innovative tech for CKC18 store
A.S. Watson Group has opened a new 26,000 square feet concept store CKC18 at Cheung Kong Center, Hong Kong. This is divided into four sections: an international food emporium, food le parc, health and beauty outlet, WatsonsLab, innovative tech zone, TechLife by FORTRESS and wine zone, Bar 0001 by Watson’s Wine.

In addition to AlipayHK and other mobile payments, unmanned checkout counters are also available at WatsonsLab. There is also a Style me tablet equipped with AR technology which shows people how they would look like when applying different make-up products.
Customers can also use the TasteToGo function in the MoneyBack reward programme app to reserve their meals in advance at food le parc. Using the app’s Scan & Go function, food le parc customers can take products, scan the barcodes with their phones and pay at self-checkout counters.
