Enter Ocado Solutions' Luke Jensen as Asos shakes up board

Asos has recruited several new non-executive directors, including Luke Jensen, CEO at Ocado Solutions.

This follows on from a profit warning, which was blamed on IT upgrade issues in Germany and stock problems in the US. Jensen's appointment is understood to reflect a desire on the part of Adam Crozier, who took over as Asos Chairman in April, to boost the board’s international omnichannel retail expertise.

The other new non-executive directors are Karen Geary, Mai Fyfield and Eugenia Ulasewicz. Hilary Riva and Rita Clifton come to the end of their six-year tenures in April 2020 and will depart on a date to be announced in due course.

"On behalf of the board, I'd like to warmly welcome Karen, Luke, Mai and Eugenia to Asos. Their world-class experience, skills, and expertise will be essential in guiding the business through the next stage of global growth, fuelled by the substantial investments it has made over the past few years,” Crozier says.
