Best Buy announces next-day delivery push
Best Buy is launching free next-day delivery in time for the holiday season. This follows similar announcements made by Amazon and Walmart earlier this year.
99% of its customers will be eligible for the service, which will cover thousands of items, including tablets, headphones and espresso machines, although it will exclude some bigger and heavier things like big screen TVs and refrigerators.
Best Buy is also offering same-day delivery in 42 US metro cities for orders completed on BestBuy.com before 3 pm local time (2 pm local time on Sundays). Curbside, meanwhile, lets customers pick up their tech without getting out of the car. It is currently available in select markets across the US, with more stores on the way.
