M&Co has appointed Astound Commerce as part of efforts to grow its e-commerce business.
Launched in 2006, mandco.com operates on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform. Astound Commerce will implement several projects for the fashion retailer aimed at reaching younger shoppers and increasing online conversion rates.
“Key to the future growth of M&Co is the implementation of our digital strategy and the growth of our e-commerce channel in the UK,” says Nichola Toner, Head of E-commerce & Customer Experience at M&Co, which recently reported a 40% drop in operating profits to £3.6 million for the year to 28th February, blaming this on economic and political uncertainty..
She adds: “Critical to this is meeting the omnichannel needs of our customers. Having discussed the digital journey, we now understand what is possible and, in the short time we have been working with Astound Commerce, we see how quickly we can progress the vision.”
