Pret A Manger launches Instagram Eat food competition

Pret A Manger is giving customers the chance to decide which Eat item should be added to its menu. 

Earlier this year, Pret announced that it was buying Eat and was looking to convert stores to its Veggie Pret brand.

A vote, which will take place on the former’s Instagram page, involves three of Eat’s best-selling products: the Chicken Pot Pie, the Firecracker Chicken Toasted Flatbread and the Humous and Falafel Mezze Salad.

Once customers have had their say, the product will be available in Pret stores in early 2020. “We know Eat customers will miss the food that they’ve enjoyed over the years, so we want to offer one of their favourite products on our menu,” says Guy Meakin, UK Food & Coffee Director at Pret.

“Once customers have voted for their winner, our food team will work closely with Eat on the finished result and we are looking forward to sharing it with customers in 2020.”
