The Foschini Group tests out One iota tech

One iota is working with The Foschini Group (TFG) in South Africa.

It is providing digital solutions for the Sportscene and Totalsports brands and is currently piloting its technology at flagship stores in Fourways Mall, Johannesburg.

Shoppers will be able to browse each brand’s full online catalogue and make purchases in-store, via One iota’s cloud-based apps deployed on kiosks. 

Greg Walsh, TFG’s Head of Omnichannel Systems, comments: “Given One iota’s experience in retail’s athleisure sector and the strength of its cloud-based platform in supporting in-store commerce, we were keen to work with them on a number of proof of concepts and pilot projects. Together, we will continually test, learn and iterate to improve the customer experience and sales conversion across all of our stores.”
