schuh takes Klarna partnership into UK stores
Swedish FinTech Klarna has expanded its buy now, pay later partnership with schuh.
Its products are already live on the retailer’s websites in the UK and Germany and now Klarna’s Pay in 3 offering will be available at over 110 UK stores before Christmas.
Meanwhile, early next year schuh will become the first UK retailer to integrate Klarna’s Instant Buy button. This can be embedded directly into product pages, or through social shopping platforms like Pinterest and Instagram. schuh will debut the technology on its UK site basket page with the plan to roll-out across social platforms later in 2020.
“Since 2017, we’ve seen a 40% increase in mobile conversions and a 25% increase on desktop, through Klarna. Those impressive growth figures can’t be ignored, and we knew we wanted to introduce Klarna more widely into our business to replicate that success across Europe,” says Sean McKee, Director of E-commerce and Customer Experience at Schuh.
