Amazon delivery is rubbish, new research reveals

Amazon is facing a customer backlash in the UK, with comprehensive research revealing that Brits would rather be stuck in a lift with Theresa May than wait in for a delivery from the e-commerce giant.

According to a survey involving one person, carried out by Amazeballs PR, Amazon has much work to do when it comes to the last mile. “I ordered something from them and they left it in a bin. And then I ordered something else, they said it would be delivered before 8pm,” said Emma, a 30-something who lives in that London.

“When it didn’t turn up, I rang customer services, who said that the delivery guy would post it through the letterbox. Did he post it through the letterbox? Did he f**k! When I got up the next morning, there was a ‘sorry we missed you’ card on the doormat. They’ve made an April fool out of me once too often!”

The survey also reveals the top five things that Brits would rather do than wait in for an Amazon delivery.

1.) Be stuck in a lift with Theresa May.

2.) Watch a double bill of The Emoji Movie and Fifty Shades of Freed.

3.) Have Piers Morgan perform open heart surgery on them.

4.) Read a Dan Brown book.

5.) Go on a camping holiday with Donald Trump.
