Salesforce set to acquire Bonobo
Salesforce has inked a definitive agreement to acquire conversational AI startup Bonobo. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but media reports put it at $50 million.
Founded in 2017 by Barak Goldstein, Efrat Rapoport, Idan Tsitiat, and Ohad Hen, the company’s technology integrates with various sources of customer interaction data, such as voice, chat, video, and email, running AI algorithms to analyse the data.
It says that the Salesforce acquisition will “allow us to expand upon on our vision — driving the conversational intelligence revolution and helping companies know their customers like never before”.
All four founders intend to remain with the company after the deal is concluded.
