Hideout Festival taps Klarna Pay in 3 solution

Hideout Festival taps Klarna Pay in 3 solution

Hideout Festival, set to take place in Croatia this summer, is offering Klarna’s Pay in 3 solution through ticketing platform, Kaboodle.

This will be available for accommodation, flight and coach packages with the possibility to include tickets, enabling customers to split the cost of the festival into three equal payments. The first of these payments is taken at the point of purchase, either via debit or credit card. The second and third are taken automatically on days 30 and 60, with no interest or fees applied.

Klarna and Stripe teamed up for this project, having previously worked together to boost the app-based shopping experience for Missguided earlier this year. Luke Griffiths, General Manager at Klarna UK, comments: “Opening up our experience to a brand new market, where Klarna payments provide an ideal solution for splitting costs, has been a fantastic project. We know we can deliver a five star purchasing process and taking that into the festival arena shows just how valuable that is for consumers.”

Iain McDougall, UK Country Manager at Stripe, adds: “Conversion can make or break ticketing platforms, and technology is key to ensuring customers can check out quickly and easily, no matter their device or location. New payment methods like Pay in 3 are designed to boost conversion and Stripe takes away the complexity of building a checkout experience that is engineered to offer customers the most innovative payment methods available today.”
