Payments veteran Brad Paterson joins Splitit
PayTech venture Splitit has announced the appointment of former Intuit Vice President of Marketing Brad Paterson as Managing Director, North America.
Paterson has also served as PayPal’s Head of Merchant Services, Asia-Pacific and Visa’s Director of Consumer and Emerging Products for Australia and New Zealand. He comments: “Splitit offers a unique and innovative solution that not only acts as a risk- and debt-free payment option but compliments other available offerings. I’m thrilled to be leading its growth and development in a market with such high potential, providing a service that merchants and consumers benefit from equally.”
Last week, we reported that Splitit had raised $30 million AUD in new equity, with plans to pull in up to $10 million AUD through a share purchase plan. This built on the closing of its initial public offering (IPO) earlier this year.
