Maybe* gets involved with new High Street Task Force
Conversational commerce platform Maybe* is one of ten companies that form part of the newly created High Street Task Force.
These will provide data, expertise, knowledge, training and support to those involved in helping to regenerate town and city centres across the country. Manchester Metropolitan University’s Institute of Place Management (IPM) will head up the consortium and it will be managed by PwC UK.
The UK government has awarded £8.6 million to the High Street Task Force. It launched earlier this week with pilot delivery due to start by September. The plan is for it to be fully operational by July 2020.
Maybe* has developed a patent-pending benchmarking platform that monitors the performance of High Street businesses. It’s a software as a service (SaaS) offering that uses artificial intelligence to turn what people are saying on social media into a useful business tool. The platform is in use in over 30 High Streets and various organisations across the UK.
