Retail veteran Andy Harding joins Openpay

Andy Harding has taken on the role of Managing Director - UK at Openpay.

Harding spent several years at House of Fraser, joining in 2011 as Director of E-commerce and serving as Chief Customer Officer before departing in 2016. Other roles on the retailer side include Chief Customer Officer at Mothercare and Chief Digital Officer at Arcadia Group. 

He is also an advisory board member at Poq. Australian FinTech venture Openpay operates in the booming buy now, pay later space. Last year, Executive Chairman Avi Schechter defended the sector, arguing that stringent screening processes protect customers from accessing debt they can’t afford.
