Burger King green lights crypto payments in Germany

Burger King is now accepting Bitcoin payments in Germany via its delivery website and mobile app.

The development was flagged up by Twitter crypto influencer, Crypto Sara.

This isn’t Burger King’s first venture into the crypto space. In 2017, its Russian operation announced it was onboard with Bitcoin payments and introduced its own virtual currency called Whoppercoin. Also in 2017, Bitcoin was first accepted by a Burger King in Arnhem, a city in the Netherlands.
