Slyce tests out Part Finder Kiosk in Home Depot store
US startup Slyce is piloting a cloud-based visual search kiosk at a Home Depot store in South Philadelphia.
This scans, identifies and show customers exactly where they can find products. Further info here.
A training model has been built into the kiosk, making it possible to scan a product and upload it to the cloud along with its barcode and location in-store.
Auto retailer NAPA Auto Parts will also test out the machine in the coming months.
