Helen Slaven joins mobile app specialist Poq

Retail tech veteran Helen Slaven has taken on the role of Chief Revenue Officer at London-based app commerce startup Poq.

Her previous jobs include Chief Sales Officer at Eagle Eye Solutions, Senior Vice President, Retail Division EMEA at Micros Retail Systems and CEO at BT Expedite.

Poq has worked with the likes of Missguided, Studio Retail and In The Style. In 2018, it closed a £9.5 million Series B funding round led by Smedvig Capital and also including previous backers Beringea and Revolt Ventures. That brought the total amount raised by the company to £16.5 million since launching in 2011.
