Daisy Haggard gets rubbish Sainsbury's online delivery substitute
British actress Daisy Haggard has taken to Twitter to jokingly thank Sainsbury’s for a spectacular online delivery fail.
The Breeders and Episodes star ordered 2kg of ice but instead received a bag of frozen peas as a substitute.
Dear @sainsburys .. thank you for thoughtfully substituting my 2kg of ice order with FROZEN PEAS. My G&T is outstanding! pic.twitter.com/1rMMV6VoF4

Chin chin, Daisy!
Sainsbury’s said they would look into the crap substitute, which annoyed some people. “Love how quickly celebs get a response. The rest of us? Not so speedy,” said James Blake.
Tell us about it, mate. Last time we contacted Sainsbury’s via Twitter to complain about an online order, it took them three days to respond.
Trailing Tesco
Sainsbury’s is looking to increase its online grocery capacity to 700,000 orders a week by the end of October and is extending delivery times to 6.30am-11.30pm.
Tesco, by way of comparison, has more than doubled its number of home delivery and Click and Collect slots to 1.5 million each week since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
