TapSimple supports Lidl GB NSPCC fundraising efforts
TapSimple is supplying Lidl GB with its Clip product to help the retailer’s NSPCC fundraising efforts during the coronavirus pandemic.
The contactless devices are being placed in 13 of the retailer’s distribution centres.
Mark Newbold, Senior CSR Manager at Lidl GB, says: “We are pleased that with the support of TapSimple, we are now able to provide innovative new ways for us to raise much needed donations for our partnered charity, the NSPCC.”
“Over the last three years, our colleagues and customers have done an amazing job raising a massive £3 million to support the charity’s work and despite the unprecedented challenges we have experienced in 2020, we are proud that our fundraising efforts will not be negatively impacted in the future.”
Kirsty Lawson, NSPCC Associate Head of Corporate Partnerships, comments: “With 90% of our funding coming from supporters, the current pandemic has increased our urgency to find immediate and sustainable fundraising solutions.”
“By partnering with TapSimple through our existing relationship with Lidl we are hopeful this fundraising platform will help customers and colleagues continue to support the charity to still be here for children.”
