New Klarna widget tracks prices during peak holiday shopping season
Buy now, pay later specialist, Klarna, is rolling out an iOS price drop widget, enabling consumers to stay on top of the latest deals and sales.
This lets shoppers receive real-time updates on price changes for their saved items by looking at the home screen on their smartphone.
It rotates through a selection of their most relevant items and saved products based on price updates to make sure they don’t miss an opportunity.
In the Klarna app, users can browse curated Wish Lists and personalised deals based on price points, shopping categories, and holiday gift recipients. The app will also provide trending Black Friday shopping deals from such merchants as Foot Locker, GameStop and Express.
“With online shopping becoming the new norm and as people prepare for the upcoming holiday season, our app can play an integral role in simplifying this busy shopping period,” says Daniel Lange, Senior Product Director at Klarna.
“With these new features, we want shoppers to feel in control while getting access to all of the best products and brands in a simple and tailored way, all from the comfort of home.”
