realme 7 5G smartphone launches in UK with Black Friday discount
Chinese smartphone brand, realme, has announced a Black Friday Real Deal event with discounts and three new products launching in the UK – the realme 7 5G, the realme Watch S and the realme Buds Air Pro.
This will run from 20th to 30th November.
The realme 7 5G, pitched as the most affordable 5G smartphone in Europe, is priced at £279 but will be available for a Black Friday special offer of £229
The Watch S is priced at £74.99 and the Buds Air Pro weighs in at £79.99.

RTIH’s verdict on the realme 7 5G smartphone
RTIH has been taking the phone for a spin over the last week or so.
It runs on the Android system and feels very similar to a Pixel phone but at a fraction of the price.
Given that, it’s clearly aimed at teens and, with excellent camera tools, it could well go down a storm with the young folks. It comes with inbuilt ‘AI beautification’, meaning Kardashian wannabes can edit their photos until their heart’s content.
Edits include face slimming and smoothing (anti wrinkle). A must have for any filter lover. Although built for selfies, the overall camera quality is good but not great, so if you’re looking to take impressive nature shots, perhaps look elsewhere.
A long battery life coupled with impressive gameplay performance means this is a good choice for mobile gamers. The game display is sharp and vibrant, which you wouldn’t normally expect from a budget offering.
The design is sleek and it sits comfortably in your hand at a similar weight to an iPhone. You do, however, occasionally notice a slight lag when having multiple apps on the go at once, not something you experience with higher end phones.
Ention pre-fitted screen protecter is a plus and again appealing to teens and also parents used to forking out for repairs. Overall, realme has delivered a high quality phone at a very reasonable price. We give it four stars out of five.
