Dai integrated as payment option on Coinbase Commerce

Coinbase Commerce, a startup that supports cryptocurrency payments for online retailers, has added MakerDAO’s Dai USD-pegged stablecoin to its roster.

This means that merchants can now accept it as payment for goods and services without Coinbase Commerce taking any extra fees.

The move could open doors to over 800,000 stores and three million web shops on Shopify and WooCommerce, and others seeking a way to accept decentralised stablecoins as payment, according to a blog post.
