Mark Wahlberg spreads the word about Raydiant

Raydiant, a startup whose tech turns TVs into interactive digital signs, has announced actor, producer and businessman Mark Wahlberg as a strategic advisor.

Wahlberg was an early Raydiant customer and investor. In fact, the company was featured in an episode of the Wahlburgers TV show, with the Boogie Nights (we love that movie) star testing out its technology as a way to create a virtual presence in Wahlburgers, the chain of restaurants he owns with his brothers.

“With Mark a key part of the advisement team and an early investor, we will be able to deliver what we have done for Walhbugers on an infinite level across SMB areas everywhere,” says Bobby Marhamat, CEO at Raydiant, which last year closed a $7 million funding round led by 8VC.

“The team at Raydiant has done a great job creating unique in-store experiences for consumers. I’m impressed with what they’re doing for bricks and mortar companies, and happy to get involved in spreading the word to other businesses.” Wahlberg comments.
