Deep North closes major Series A round

US-based computer vision and AI-powered video analytics company, Deep North, has raised $25.7 million in Series A funding.

The round was led by Celeres Investments, with participation from Engage, AI List Capital and others.

The venture intends to use the cash to support expansion of its team, focus on building its AI platform, give customers more data driven insights, and explore additional verticals, beyond retail and transportation.

“Our solution provides shopping malls, bricks and mortar retail stores and transportation hubs with the real-time data and analytics they need to reclaim consumer traffic from the digital world, thereby creating a better customer experience,” says Rohan Sanil, Co-Founder and CEO, Deep North.

“With the support of respected global brands, we are confident that our platform is truly enabling the experiential retail that today’s customers are demanding, as well as demonstrably increasing operational efficiency and driving revenue for retailers.”
