Threekit unveils configurable augmented reality shopping tool
Visual technology venture, Threekit, has launched a new feature that allows shoppers to see and customise millions of product variations in augmented reality.

To support this launch, Threekit is currently offering its 3D configurator and augmented reality (configurable AR included) services for free for 100 companies. This offer is valid until 31st July and applies to one product in 3D configuration and AR. 3D modelling and implementation services are not included.

Funding rounds
In November last year, Threekit closed a $20 million Series A round led by Shasta Ventures.
Other participants included Salesforce Ventures, former San Francisco 49ers Hall of Famer Steve Young, Marketo Co-Founder Phil Fernandez, and serial SaaS entrepreneur Godard Abel (G2, Steelbrick, and BigMachines).

Earlier in 2019, the venture raised $10 million in an investment round led by Godard Abel. Brands that use its technology include Crate & Barrel, CIROC, Tailored Brands and Modarri.
