RetailEXPO Virtual Conference set for later this month

RetailEXPO 2020 might have been cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak, but fans of the event will be pleased to hear about a virtual conference, set to take place on 29th and 30th April.

This will be headed up by ex-Waitrose MD, Mark Price, who will address a keynote on day one.

Also onboard are mathematician and broadcaster, Dr Hannah Fry, Nicola Thompson, CCO at Made.com, Susan Aari, Mobile Lead at The Very Group, Tristan Burns, Analytics Lead at Pizza Hut, as well as speakers from Tesco and River Island.

Free to attend, those registering for the event will have the opportunity to get involved in live Q&As with the panellists, who will share ideas and best practice, as well as networking opportunities with peers and partners.

“Retailers are having to completely reimagine not just their operations, but in some cases their entire business model at unprecedented pace and scale. We often talk about retail undergoing seismic shifts as it continues to evolve to meet shoppers’ needs – never has this been more true than now,” says Matt Bradley, Event Director at RetailEXPO.

“RetailEXPO’s very existence is to showcase forward-thinking insight and innovation from retail visionaries and tech leaders that can help retailers transform their businesses for success and ready them to weather change. That’s why it was imperative for us to still deliver that source of inspiration, albeit digitally, to support the retail community we serve.”
