McDonald's launches Family Fun Hub amid coronavirus lockdown

McDonald’s has gone live with a family entertainment hub as the coronavirus lockdown continues in the UK.

“From creative activities to interactive play, board games to eBooks, plus football skills videos to help keep your kids active, there’s hours of fun to entertain the whole family,” the fast food giant says.

Our personal favourite is Snoopy's AR Space Rocket Adventure. Check it out here.

Joke’s on you

Earlier this month, McDonald’s UK threw shade at the people behind an April Fools’ tweet that stated the fast food giant was close to re-opening its restaurants.

“Lots of people getting in touch about a certain post circulating tonight. It’s fake, we are not reopening next week and any official announcements would come from this page and would spell the brand name correctly,” it tweeted.

Cue responses from many, many disappointed people, including: “Hopefully you'll start Monopoly again as soon as you reopen. I need this to keep me going!”

And our personal favourite: “Whilst you’re here, how long do pots of BigMac sauce dip last for if unopened and refrigerated - asking for a friend.”
