Selfridges veteran Daniel Blyth makes move to Farfetch

Daniel Blyth has joined online fashion venture Farfetch as Senior Brands Partnership Manager - Europe and UK.

He was previously at Selfridges where he spent 16 years, most recently serving as Senior Digital Trading Manager: Accessories, Kids & Shoes. The retailer has closed its stores due to the coronavirus outbreak, although its digital and social channels continue to operate as usual.

“It is sad and bizarre departing during such challenging times; not being able to say goodbye to all the fabulous people I have worked with,” Blyth said in a LinkedIn post.

“I have so much love for the business, and all of the people who have made my time there so special. It has been such a significant part of my life; both professionally and personally. A huge thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey. I look forward to seeing the stores open their doors to customers again, once the coronavirus situation passes.”

Dream Assembly 4

Farfetch recently released details of its Dream Assembly 4 accelerator programme.

“Dream Assembly is looking to support tech-enabled or tech-based startups solving real problems and creating meaningful innovations that are shaping the future of the fashion and retail tech industries,” the company said in a LinkedIn post.

The fourth programme will kick off during the spring and run for seven weeks. It will include weeks in Lisbon, London and Porto. Further details here.
