Leroy Merlin Spain teams with Bringg
Tel Aviv-based startup Bringg, which helps companies build and run delivery operations, has snagged a deal with Leroy Merlin Spain.
The retailer has 134 stores across Spain, six distribution centres and multiple external fleets.
“Together we will be able to elevate the customer experience, drive cost efficiencies and unlock their vision of anticipating and setting a new benchmark for the needs of their customers,” says Tom Doyle, Area Vice President EMEA at Bringg.
Major funding
Bringg recently announced a $30 million Series D round.
The venture counts the likes of Walmart, McDonald’s and Coke among its customers.
The funding round was led by Viola Growth, with Next47, Salesforce, OG Tech Ventures and GLP (all previous investors) also participating. It brought the total raised to over $83 million.
“We will be using the funding to expand our platform for enterprise and SMBs, enrich our solutions and scale our workforce so that we can help all businesses overcome their delivery challenge,” Guy Block, CEO at Bringg, said.
“Over these next few weeks and months we will be opening up to more fleets, to add additional capacity to our customers, productising integrations for an open API and connecting to all e-commerce platforms to enable a strong logistics foundation via digital and live sales channels.”
