ImLive tackles coronavirus quarantine hair dressing fails with Sexy Cuts

Adult webcam company ImLive has launched Sexy Cuts, which allows users to consult with models who have haircutting knowledge for assistance in cutting their own hair.

The new offering, which kicks off today on the site with a party, addresses the fact that coronavirus quarantines are set to continue for weeks in many US states.

“Quarantining has been instrumental in stopping the growth in cases of the coronavirus, but, as many approach week eight of being on lockdown, it has not been kind to the growth of our hair. We understand the need for a fresh cut, but it’s not worth the risk of getting sick or spreading the virus so others will get sick,” says Adrian Stoneman, VP at ImLive.

“To help men look their best while staying safe, we’re excited to offer Sexy Cuts. Whether you’re looking for direction on how to do a tight fade or you just need an extra set of eyes to ensure your crew cut is even, our beautiful ladies are here to help.”

There will be hundreds of models participating in Sexy Cuts. Users need to set up an account and then select a host from the party and take her private. Haircuts take between 15 minutes and one hour - depending on the style and length of hair - and rates are determined by the hosts.

Depending on the desired cut, users will need a buzzer with different size attachments, scissors and fine tooth comb. Afterwards, they can engage in a camming session with the model.

The offering builds on ImLive’s Stay Home, Don’t Date campaign, which launched last month to condemn dating and dating apps that, it claimed, enable the spreading of the coronavirus. In that campaign, which drew support and participation from celebrities like Bella Thorne, ImLive offered to give away up to $50 million worth of a credits to new users that committed to abstaining from dating during quarantine.
