Crobox wins big at LVMH Innovation Award 2020

Dutch startup Crobox has emerged as the winner of the LVMH Innovation Award 2020.

Last month, LVMH Group shortlisted 30 startups for the fourth edition of its challenge.

The final was held online last night, hosted by LVMH CDO Ian Rogers, and also featuring Kat Borlongan, Director at La French Tech, Julie Ranty, MD at Viva Technology and Philippe Bloch, author and entrepreneur.

Three startups were singled out: Crobox, Desserto and OneStock. Crobox analyses the behaviour of consumers in order to tell brands what clients like about their products. Desserto produces a vegan leather from cacti cultivated in Mexico, while OneStock has developed a stock unification service which makes products available across all sales channels.

The eventual winner, Crobox, was founded in 2014 by Leonard Wolters, Rodger Buyvoets and Sjoerd Mulder. It will now collaborate with LVMH Group for a year.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, Innovation Award 2020 was an online-only affair. But it will be back in physical form at next year’s Viva Technology show, scheduled to take place in Paris on 17th-19th June 2021.
