Amazon opens another Go Grocery store in US
Amazon opened its second Amazon Go Grocery store yesterday.
The 7,350 square foot store is located in Redmond, Washington, near the e-commerce giant’s Homebase.
The opening comes about six months after Amazon launched the first Go Grocery in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighbourhood.
Features include Just Walk Out technology and an onsite Amazon Hub Locker+ where shoppers can pick up or return Amazon orders.
“This store is larger than our first store and will feature hot foods like rotisserie chickens for $4.97! As always you can just walk out after shopping. Welcome Go Grocery Overlake,” David Nielson, Amazon Fresh Stores Regional Manager - West Coast, said in a LinkedIn post.
