Pinterest rolls out new tools for shoppers and advertisers
Pinterest has announced new ways users can shop from Pins, on boards, from search, as well as new monetising shopping surfaces for UK advertisers.
It says, as a result of the coronavirus outbreak, the percentage of Pinners engaging with shopping surfaces on its platform has grown 80% in the past six months.
“This year, we expect shopping for the festive season to look different, with mobile commerce poised to reach new heights as people find gifts from home.”
“That’s why this week, we’re rolling out new shopping tools for Pinners and advertisers, bringing us one step closer to our goal of making every Pin shoppable,” the venture says in an online post.
