Gaia Design boosts digital experience with Hullabalook tech
Mexican furniture retailer, Gaia Design, has gone live with new Stickers technology from startup Hullabalook.
The aim here is to recreate the showroom experience that has been lost due to Covid-19.
Gaia Design used the tech to launch Sketchbuilder, which allows you to visualise your space with 2D stickers and share or buy products on any device.
Bryony Elliott, Co-founder of Hullabalook, which is perhaps best known for creating Made.com’s Sofasizer technology, says: “We believe that great technology should be accessible to everybody, on every device. The pandemic hit retail hard, so we wanted to create something that could replicate the experience shoppers get when they visit a store.”
“By launching Stickers, we’re giving shoppers the ability to re-create their homeware visions in a fun, easy way while providing a superior user experience. For retailers this means higher engagement and conversion rates, for shoppers it means less uncertainty and better product discovery - it’s a no brainer really.”
Hassan Yassine, Co-Founder of Gaia Design, adds: “We've spent six years working on a home and living brand that inspires you to design the life that you want in a personalised and beautiful way.”
“As our e-commerce has grown to a new normal this year, we decided to give it a face lift and add new design tools to our digital experience. It has been wonderful working with the talented Hullabalook team to co-create some of these tools and give power to the user in a friendly user interface.”
