Standard AI brings autonomous checkout experience to Circle K store
US-based autonomous checkout solution provider, Standard AI (formerly known as Standard Cognition) has worked with Circle K to open its offering in a store in Arizona.
Using AI powered cameras throughout the store, the system identifies the products shoppers pick up and automatically records the purchases on the Circle K mobile app, eliminating time spent at traditional checkout areas.
Standard AI worked with Circle K to retrofit an existing location in Tempe, Arizona, without ceasing store operations or altering its layout.
It says it was able to integrate fully with the store’s retail operations, including inventory management systems and visual merchandising.
Huge news today from the @standardAI team!
