LEGO, Sainsbury’s and Pets at Home make DataIQ 100 list
DataIQ has flagged Orlando Machado, Chief Data Officer at LEGO Group as one of the most influential people in data and analytics.

Also making it into the DataIQ 100 are Andy Hill, Global VP of Information and Analytics at Unilever and Robert Kent, Chief Data Officer at Pets at Home, and Steph Bell, Senior Analytics Manager - Applied Data and Analytics at Sainsbury’s.
Orlando Machado
Machado joined the LEGO Group earlier this year.
Prior to that, he was Group Chief Data Scientist at Aviva where he created a global data science practice (Aviva Quantum) working across 16 countries.
Machado spent four years as Chief Data Scientist at MoneySuperMarket. He started out in academia after which he worked at the BBC for a couple of years, and then moved to Wunderman, part of WPP.
His CV also includes a stint at dunnhumby, where he ran the UK analytics and insight teams for Tesco and other clients.
