Stripe becomes most valuable US unicorn with mega founding round
Online payments provider Stripe has raised $600 million at a $95 billion valuation.
This cements its position as the most valuable US unicorn, moving it ahead of SpaceX.
Primary investors included Allianz X, Axa, Baillie Gifford, Fidelity Management & Research Company, Sequoia Capital, and Ireland’s National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA).

A big vote of confidence in Ireland and cements our position as a global technology hub.
Stripe, which recently added former Bank of England Governor Mark Carney to its board, will use the capital to invest in its European operations, and its Dublin headquarters in particular.
