Nick Burton takes on Technology Director role at Screwfix
Nick Burton will next week join Screwfix, an omnichannel retailer of trade tools, accessories and hardware products, as Technology Director.
Burton will also become a member of both the Screwfix Board and of owner Kingfisher Group’s Technology Board.
He previously worked at Avon, where he was responsible for the technology needs of the company’s international businesses (outside LATAM), with a particular focus on leading the e-commerce channel.
“Screwfix is an amazing company - customer obsessed, delivering its promise seven days a week with an amazing product range focused on trade and serious DIYers,” Burton said in a LinkedIn post.
“They have been omnichannel from day one and already deliver a brilliant experience across web, mobile app, contact centre and in store. A huge proportion of orders are fulfilled as Click and Collect and our customers value the immediacy we offer.”
He concluded: “I’m very much looking forward to meeting my new colleagues as I begin learning the business working in our Woking branch next week, and then getting to know the wider business. It’s going to be a fantastic journey!”
