Bunzl UK & Ireland selects RELEX forecasting and replenishment solution

Bunzl UK & Ireland is rolling out forecasting and replenishment tech from RELEX Solutions.

RELEX will service the company’s distribution businesses, which supply a range of more than 100,000 products including food packaging, disposable supplies, catering equipment, healthcare consumables, and cleaning and safety products to the likes of supermarkets, retailers, and hospitality outlets.

Its solution, which leverages AI and machine learning, will enable Bunzl to automate optimal inventory distribution to reduce over- or under-stocking risks.

It will also provide the ability to implement a more holistic approach to planning, using data to improve operations and efficiency.
