Russo, who made her way to retail by way of Deloitte Consulting, says: ”I am excited to be a part of a team well established in innovation and at the forefront of digitisation.”

“Digital avatars and twins are capable of transforming experiences for retailers and brands, and I am excited to see Vocinity lead the way.”

2022 RTIH Innovation Awards

Russo is also a member of the 2022 RTIH Innovation Awards judging panel.

The fourth edition of the awards recently opened for entries, featuring PMC as Headline Sponsor.

The event celebrates global tech innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world.

There are three new categories in 2022: Most innovative independent retailer, Customer service excellence, and Omnichannel retail initiative of the year.

It’s free to enter and the deadline for submissions is 4th November, with winners being announced at an event in central London during December.

RTIH Editor, Scott Thompson, says: “Innovation and technology play a critical role in the success of the retail sector, so it is great to recognise standout examples through our awards.”

“The 2022 event will be the biggest and best yet.”
