Deliveroo UAE teams with Choithrams for first Deliveroo Hop store
Deliveroo has launched its first Deliveroo Hop store in the UAE, following roll-outs in the UK, Italy and France.
This is in partnership with grocery retailer Choithrams and will serve customers in Motor City, Sports City, Barsha South, JVC, JVT and Arabian Ranches.
The company said in a LinkedIn post: “We’re on a mission to be the definitive food company. Today, we just got a little closer to that goal.”
Available through the Deliveroo app, Deliveroo Hop with Choithrams will offer grocery delivery in as little as 15 minutes.
According to the aforementioned LinkedIn post, “this expansion underscores Deliveroo's commitment to growing its global food business, as well as to continuing to bring innovation to key markets in this rapidly expanding industry.”
London calling
Last year, Deliveroo Hop launched in central London in partnership with Morrisons.
The move into the rapid grocery delivery space sits alongside Deliveroo's existing service, which currently delivers from over 4,600 partner grocery stores across the UK.
