Morrisons promotes Ammaar Makda to technology, service delivery role

Ammaar Makda has taken on the role of Technology Specialist – Online Service Delivery at Morrisons.

Roles and responsibilities will include service management, design, transition, change, strategy, and improvement.

Makda previously held the position of Innovation Specialist and before that was part of the Morrisons Digital and Technology Graduate scheme. 

Thomas Scott

Thomas Scott was recently appointed to the position of Technology Specialist/Digital & Innovation at Morrisons.

He was previously a Digital & Innovation Analyst at the grocery retailer.

Prior to that, Scott spent over four years at Asda, serving as (in the following order) Technology Apprentice, Innovation Coordinator, and Project Leader.

Morrisons recently overhauled its IPhone and Android app.

In an email to its customers, it said: “Welcome to your brand new My Morrisons app! Offering you more ways to save on your shopping.”

“We listened to your feedback, and made some exciting changes. From personalised offers, to money off coupons, plus the chance to bag a bonus offer when you swipe your card or scan the app. Simply visit your app store, search for My Morrisons and click update. Enjoy!”
